Herman Miller for Healthcare returns this week from a very successful Arab Health 2008 exhibition and congress. This is the premier healthcare event for the Middle East, bringing together manufacturers, wholesalers, dealers and distributors with some of the most important and influential decision-makers in the Arab world.
This year’s show attracted over 2,200 exhibitors from 65 countries, and more than 50,000 visitors from the healthcare profession. Established over three decades ago, the exhibition is generally viewed as an essential event in the global healthcare calendar. It offers an ideal environment for companies to showcase products in one of the fastest growing and most lucrative healthcare markets in the world. The growth in visitor numbers was clear from the quantity of high-quality leads generated by the team of Herman Miller for Healthcare dealers from the region.
At the show, Herman Miller and Microsoft were leading sponsors of the Arab Health Achievement and Innovation Awards. These recognise outstanding contributions of individuals, hospitals, departments, teams and organisations to the development of the Arab Health industry. Winners were honoured at a gala evening on 30 January at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai, attended by leading professionals and companies in the health industry. Supporting this award in its first year reinforces Herman Miller for Healthcare’s presence in the region, and demonstrates its support for excellence and best practice in the Arab world.
