Modularity is the design philosophy that drives Meridian lateral files. Can files be more than simple large and static metal boxes? The Meridian answer is yes. The solution is storage that you can specify literately drawer by drawer, component by component, selecting from a variety of stacking modular units.
Stackability puts you in the driver’s seat. You specify base, module, and top height options for each individual storage component, building your file from the ground up. So you specify exactly what you need. And if your needs change once the storage is in place, you can easily reconfigure the components.
What are other benefits of this stacking feature? Strength is one. Your four-high lateral file, for instance, is actually composed of four individual modules. The full frame steel construction of these modules employs a lateral crossbar, forming a ladder-type construction that makes Meridian files the strongest and most rigid files available. And each module is bolted to the next in five places.
It offers a wide variety of aesthetic options, all of which make it look great. The files are available in a number of distinctive fronts, and have a coordinated palette of choices. These include an array of paints, both flat and metallic. Finish colours include warm, natural earthtones as well as mid-range colours for a little conservative punch. For a bolder statement, select from bright accent colours. Even more unique, try one of eight metallics. Recut and natural veneers are available for tops.
